REPLACING PARTS ON EXISTING MALTA WINDOWS
When replacing parts or sashes on older Malta
Windows, we will need the following information in order to assist you.
- Type
of window unit: double hung or casement (crank out).
- Type
of exterior: painted, aluminum clad, or vinyl clad. If clad, please provide
color.
- Code
found on aluminum spacer between the two lites of glass.
- Measurements
of the visible glass, width & height. If double hung, measure upper
& lower sashes separately.
- Type
of insulated glass: clear or low-e.
- If
grids in window, are they removable or in between the lites of glass.
- On
double hung units, provide the color of the vinyl tracks: white or beige.

- Code found on aluminum spacer between the
two lites of glass.
- Measurements of the visible glass, width
& height. If double hung, measure upper & lower sashes separately.
- Color of existing tracks: white or beige.
